Initial Thoughts
I’m not sure why, but it took me a long time to get around to trying the Foundation Tabernacle Havana Seed CT. I think I thought it was expensive. It’s not. I think I thought it was hard to find. It can be.
Regardless of the reason, I’m really excited to smoke and review the Foundation The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Corona, because, after recording this review, this cigar has become one of my new favorites.
NOTE: I’ve also smoked the toro version. And, while also very good, I preferred the smaller ring gauge of the corona.
The Foundation The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Corona has a reddish brown wrapper that has a beautiful and oily shine to it. Once I’d cut the cigar, on the cold draw I tasted flavors that were woody and a little spicy, kind of like a cinnamon stick.
Once lit, the Foundation Tabernacle Havana Seed CT tasted like it did on the cold draw with flavors of wood and spice. On the retrohale, the smoke tingled my sinuses. Let’s keep going.

Final Thoughts
The Foundation The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Corona I reviewed was a pretty good cigar. It was consistent and there weren’t a lot of flavor changes, but it didn’t really need them. At any given moment with the Havana Seed Connecticut, I tasted something sweet, something spicy, and something woody, which delivered a deliciously complex smoking experience. Plus, for a smaller cigar, this one has an impressive smoke time without having a bad draw.
When I reviewed this cigar, it was only my second time to smoke the Foundation The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142. Since recording, I’ve had more than half a dozen, and I’ve even sampled it in a different vitola. So far, the smaller ring gauge of the Corona makes this one my preferred vitola.
With that said, the Foundation The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Corona earns a CigarScore 5.
