When my wife and I visited Harvard over the weekend, we figured the “tobacco” shop on Mass Ave across from the dorms just hadn’t gotten around to painting over the word “tobacco” on the front. Well, we were wrong! Leavitt & Peirce has a solid selection of cigars at a variety of price points and from several different brands. If you’re in the area, stop in and give them a look. However, beware that the price on the cigar and/or on the box does NOT include the ~25% tobacco tax, so you’ll have to add that in before you check out. Too bad they don’t have a cigar lounge too; I bet that would hold a lot of history.
